Hand in hand with dedicated staff trained specifically in working with learning disabilities, students participate in developing a Student Education Plan (SEP) designed to address the academic and emotional areas of concern. The SEP utilizes systematic and strategic interventions developed specifically to meet the student’s unique needs. At the completion of her program, family will have a good understanding of her learning differences and greater awareness of her many strengths and abilities. Skills learned at Maple Lake Academy will be valuable in assisting her in the search for independence, academic success and healthy social relationships.
